The Challenge
Drive DeVilbiss, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of durable medical products, had outgrown its existing IT infrastructure. Following rapid expansion through acquisition, the company needed a technology solution that could keep pace with its growth, offering full visibility, scalability and security across multiple sites.
DIS needed a partner that could help deliver a flexible, scalable network architecture, centralised connectivity with high availability and a solution that could grow in line with customer ambition.
The Solution
Working closely with Node4, DIS deployed a Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Private Cloud WAN solution for Drive DeVilbiss. This highly scalable network connects all sites into a central cloud, rather than relying on site-to-site leased lines or VPNs. The solution included a high-speed, resilient MPLS core, centralised internet breakout for simplified management, real-time monitoring and reporting tools and 24/7 support tailored to customer needs
This architecture allows Drive DeVilbiss to add or remove sites and circuits as needed, without compromising performance or security.
