The Challenge

As Webbs looked to expand their café operations and improve customer experience, they faced limitations with their existing ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. While it had served them well, the system lacked the flexibility and functionality needed to support their growth plans, particularly in hospitality. They needed a solution that could handle table service, kitchen printing, and more advanced retail features.

The Solution

We’ve worked with Webbs since 2013, building a strong and collaborative relationship. When the time came to evolve their systems, we guided them through the decision to upgrade to Dynamics NAV 2016, integrated with LS Retail and LS Hospitality. This hybrid approach allowed them to retain their core ERP while gaining the new functionality they needed.

As their ambitions grew, so did their technology needs. Webbs decided to take the next step and upgrade their main ERP to Business Central 15, alongside LS Central. This move unlocked a host of new capabilities, including real-time promotions, improved stock control, enhanced membership features, and mobile functionality for both shop floor and warehouse teams.

The Results

The transition to Business Central and LS Central has laid the groundwork for Webbs’ continued growth. Their café operations now run more smoothly, with orders taken at the table and sent directly to the kitchen. The new system has also improved efficiency across their retail operations, from stock replenishment to customer engagement.
