Atria is part of the Agena Group, a UK-based business delivering car parking and software solutions.

Formed in 2019, Atria supports not only its own operations but also those of Premier Park, Park Watch and UK Car Park Management. With 230 employees and a mission to modernise the parking industry, Atria combines deep sector experience with a commitment to cloud-native innovation.

Our current and future development ethos is to be cloud-native from the ground up, and with the ongoing support of the Node4 team, I’m confident that we’re building a technology stack that will pit the business and its customers in an ideal place to continue innovating in the years to come.

The Challenge

Atria’s original infrastructure was built and maintained by its founder. Following acquisition and the appointment of a new CTO, the business needed to modernise its legacy data centre and hardware strategy. The goal was to create a more agile, reliable and scalable IT environment that could support growth and deliver better outcomes for both internal teams and customers.

We began by delivering a managed service to take over Atria’s database administration. Our 24/7 monitoring and alerting helped resolve legacy database issues and improve performance and reliability. From there, our partnership expanded. Atria chose to migrate key services into AWS as part of a hybrid infrastructure strategy, with us providing tailored support across mission-critical and lower-tier systems.
